About Us

Pupper Buttons was inspired by Rupert, a spaniel/chow mix originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. While on walks in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, Rupert was obviously bothered by a constant clinking preventing him from fully enjoying his adventures. 

The culprit - the noise his dangling ID tag made. It bothered his sensitive pupper ears, and the squirrels could hear him coming a mile away. The solution was a combination of his owner's love for pups, brass and the desire for Rupert to live a life of luxury and comfort. Thus, Pupper Buttons came to be, a distinguished and discreet ID tag that allows pups to adventure in peace.
